About the Fund

The University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill Queer and/or Trans People of Color (QTPOC) Fund is a mutual aid fund created by the organization UNC-CH QTPOC and aims to provide financial support to undergraduate and graduate students who are black, indigenous, or any other person of color (BIPOC) and also identify as part of the LGBT+ community. Although we prioritize QTPOC students, the fund is open to all queer students (including white queer students) at UNC-CH. Our primary goal is to show our support for QTPOC students at Carolina and ensure that its members have a resource to turn to in times of need.

All donations made to the UNC-CH QTPOC fund will go directly to the QTPOC community on campus.

Students who are looking to request aid, whether it be for food, medication, shelter or otherwise, may fill out the Google Form on the Request Support/Donate page.
